This isn't very exciting, but I do fall down while filming myself doing the bunny run home at Northstar-at-Tahoe on 2/20/2006. This was after Matt sprained his wrist badly trying snowboarding for the first time.

I don't like BEP

I don't like BEP

originally uploaded by milesgehm. They have covered the Dick Dale version of MISERLOU. Covered it in smelly donkey crap. I oppose the death penalty on principle. I'd make an exception for them. WTF!

I really really hate this song. Don't buy their music. If you hear it coming out of a speaker, you should shoot the speaker or stab it with a pencil. Over and over again. Don't let you children think this is music.

A copy of a little video I made over the summer. Chris, Eddie, and Xavier are doing most of the skating. The music is by Fabulous Disaster, one of my favorite bands. Pissed off punk chicks from San Francisco.

Music this weekend

Tonight I'm going to The Bottom of the Hill for the Stray Cats Tribute CD release and The Phenomenauts, after Dmitri's resignation beer and pizza blowout.

Tomorrow there is a reggae festival at the Cow Palace which starts at 3:30 PM.  It is called Raggamuffin.  I think I'll go to see this one guy who is a Hassidic Jew from West Chester, Pennsylvania.  I've seen his video on MTV and the music is rocking rasta roots reggae.  Very weird.

Maximum respect,

Miles

Subject: Music next week

This is from THE LIST.

The 2 shows which got 3 stars (***) are in red.

The other show is in red because of the venue (Luna's Mufflers in San Jose!)

I will probably go to see The Phenomenauts at the Bottom of the Hill, which is a great club, on Friday.

The show at the muffler shop on Saturday is pretty tempting too.

See you down front.

Miles

p.s.  I have a couple of podcasts on iTunes.  See if you can find them.  They are free of course.  And not so very interesting.
