The Friday 3/23 show is back on with a revised line up of killer surf bands.  Come out and support, or admit you suck!

The next night at The Blank will be fun too.  Stand back or the hot chick guitarist will hock a lugy on you!

And then on Sunday night the Skatalites are playing in Berkeley with the Soul Captives!  Get your act together and see the real deal from Jamaica, the originators and definers of the ska/rocksteady/reggae sound.

Slacktone are the best surf band in the universe. The lead guitar player looks like he will explode at any moment while he pulls the most amazing sounds out of his guitar at insane speed and slow. The drummer is the best I have ever seen or heard. He kicks ass in time. The bass guitar player holds it all together. He also plays with Dick Dale and Agent Orange and has serious chops.

Pollo Del Mar are the best surf band in the Bay Area. They have toured Holland, Belgium, and Japan. With top notch lead, rhythm, and bass guitar players backed by a rock solid drummer, they will reverb your socks off.

I bet the other bands are good too.

This is a show that should not be missed.

Sunday 12/3/2006 at CSP I learned this slidekind of by accident. It is an alley-op frontside bert, or maybe a bert-rock walk. I like it. Also a couple of decent front side bert-revert slides for your viewing pleasure. The key is the RC DUB golden shirt. Great band making great music. They are from Nebra-SKA!
