They played a great show at The Attic on Sunday 8/21/2006. There were maybe 100 people max, and there was lots of room for skanking. My camera was on the speaker stack for this shot, and I think the video and audio turned out great.

The English Beat in San Jose 8/5 Thursday
I saw them 2 weeks ago in Santa Cruz. They were great. Dave
Wakeling has much better musicians with him, including the guitarist
from the Specials. They played a couple of great Specials songs and
all of the great Beat songs. If you live in the South SF Bay and
don't go to this, you will probably go to hell and have to listen to
emo crap for eternity. Don't take a chance!

The Madeira killing it at Hotel Utah on Surf Sunday
Surf Sunday at Hotel Utah on 7/30/2006. The line up was outstanding, with Madeira opening, Pollo del Mar in the middle, and Slacktone closing. The place was packed.
