The song is "I don't get the blues when I'm stoned" from "Lonesome Man" by "Dogman and The Shepards". Dogman's real name is Neal Black. He has a recent CD out "Handful of Rain" by "Neal Black and the Healers". I saw him and bought the vinyl in San Antonio around 1987. He now lives and records in France. Pretty damn awesome.

Surf Sunday at Hotel Utah in San Francisco on a rainy Sunday afternoon in late October. It got hot! The very end of their set until my camera ran out of battery. They sounded fantastic and played an outstanding set.

20100912 bs carve grind in baby ameoba
It is small. Metal not pool coping. Many can rip it harder. Still, I couldn't do this last year or at the beginning of the summer, and now I can. I'm am stoked! It makes a great sound. Kind of a grinding noise!
