20071110 San Jose Skate
This is Trouble in Paradise doing skank pirate. Fun! Benefits I really liked the sound of their guitar player. Very classic punk. Poor AJ and the most likely to's Lots of skanking and laughter. They have a great sense of humor. Their cover of the Aquabats' Super Rad was excellent. Firme Some changes in the line-up, but the core is still there and they are all great musicians. The sound is much more rock than reggae not. When they have the upbeats going it is irresistible. I don't think any of the kids had heard them before. They liked them! Trouble in Paradise I thought they got off to a slow start, but then they found their groove. Skank Pirate was absolutely nuts. I really like the kids that go to these shows. They can dance like maniacs and don't laugh at the old man when he tries hard to keep up. Fun!
